June 9 (Sun) – June 30 (Sun), 2019

「Group Show of Contemporary Artists 2019」Poster

Launched in 2012 on the occasion of the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum’s Grand Reopening, “Group Show of Contemporary Artists” seeks to encourage contemporary artists in their pursuit of art from new perspectives. Artist groups are invited to submit designs for exhibitions that explore the possibilities of the museum’s distinctive spaces. Exhibitions subsequently chosen are featured in a group show.
“Group Show of Contemporary Artists 2019” will consist of exhibitions by three artist groups selected through a rigorous juried process. Visitors will delight in a show infused with the artists’ passion, displaying works of painting, photography, sculpture, and installation.
