This exhibition, held in connection to the concurrent program Ueno Artist Project 2020: “Experiencing the World of Japanese Contemporary SHO”, features the Modern Poetic Calligraphy of KANEKO Otei, along with the Kana works of ANDO Seiku and HIBINO Goho which are housed in the museum’s collection. Also presented are the works from the NAKAMURA Sodo collection at the Tokyo Metropolitan Edo-Tokyo Museum, as well as the masterpieces of MORITA Yasuji, AOKI Koryu, and TOKUNO Taiku.
