June 11 (Sat) - July 1 (Fri), 2022

Exhibition series “Group Show of Contemporary Artists” seeks to encourage contemporary artists in their pursuit of art from new perspectives. Artist groups are invited to submit designs for exhibitions that explore the possibilities of the museum’s distinctive spaces. The series was launched on the occasion of the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum’s Grand Reopening in 2012.
“Group Show of Contemporary Artists 2022” will consist of exhibitions realized by three artist groups selected through a rigorous juried process, displaying works of painting, sculpture, video, and installation.
