Best Selection 2012

An exhibition featuring in one location 171 artists from 27 art groups chosen from among Japan’s major art groups. A “best of” exhibition, the event will feature artists in their creative prime—many of them chosen to represent their group. Works from the genres of oil painting, Nihonga, sculpture, hanga (print), and kogei (craft) will be displayed to show the true power and fascination of the “public entry exhibition.”
