An exhibition of 20 selected pieces from Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum’s collection of calligraphic works dating from the decades of the 1950s to the 1970s. The exhibition will not only show the development of contemporary calligraphy that has transpired with Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum as a stage but will also be a golden opportunity to see calligraphic works in the museum’s collection never displayed in one show before.
