Exhibition Introduction by the Group
Taking the standards of JIS (Japan Industrial Standards) as a beginning, we seek in this project to increase our awareness of the standards in the environment we inhabit every day and somehow connect them to art expression. Our lifestyles are founded on industrial products and standards, so naturally, these things deeply affect our art and activities. By going back to daily living and consuming and examining the foundation of art, we would like to open vent holes among artworks, artists, and viewers, and rediscover the action of art expression as if by digging under the exhibition.

Group Profile
Amid our work together at the same art university, we came to see our artworks as sharing a common quality. They were, this is to say, not so much “art” in the usual sense as they were something somehow idiotic. Even now, when we are all employed at different jobs, we remain stuck in a situation where art appears as an event occurring in some faraway place, and our footing is as uncertain as ever. Hence, wondering if there were something we could create on the basis of our psychological complex about art, as such, we launched our activities.
