“都美セレクション グループ展（Group Show of Contemporary Artists）”是旨在支持以全新的构想进行艺术创作的艺术家的展览，募集想要向唯有在本馆展示空间才能实现的表现发起挑战的团体，来实施其企划。以2012年东京都美术馆翻修后重新开馆为契机全新开始。
在“都美セレクション グループ展 2020（Group Show of Contemporary Artists 2020）”中，由从应征团体中经过严格审查选拔出的3个团体来举办展览，介绍绘画、摄影、雕刻、装置艺术等众多类别的作品。敬请期待满含团体创作热情的展览。
