Balthus: A Retrospective
巴尔蒂斯（Balthasar Klossowski de Rola，1908-2001）被誉为是二十世纪最后的大师，本展是其故世后在日本正式举办的首个回顾展。在节子夫人的鼎力协助下，本展展出了世界各地的美术馆以及个人收藏家收藏的巴尔蒂斯的油画代表作、铅笔素描、水彩、写生作品以及生前爱用品等，展会还再现了其在瑞士的生前最后一处住所里的画室实景。

The first retrospective exhibition of Balthus in Japan since his death, held with the full cooperation of Setsuko Klossowska de Rola, who married Balthus in 1967. The exhibition will display important paintings that Japanese audiences have few opportunities to see from the collections of noted art museums, and rarely exhibited works from private collections as well.
