Item: URUSHI Glass paperweight
The traditional pattern and craftsmanship have been inherited as a traditional craft. In order to convey them to future generations, we tried to introduce Edo Kiriko in the form of stationery for daily use. We adopted the shape of a triangular prism, which brings unusual refrection, to take advantage of the optical glass, with beautiful light reflection. The deep red lacquer further enhances the attractiveness of the material.Edo Kiriko was not normally applied to this kind of glass mass. The new challenge of craftsmen made it possible.
